What Counts as a Paragraph?

For this tool, a paragraph is a non-empty block of text separated from another block by one or more blank lines.

For example:

The result is 2 paragraphs.

Several consecutive blank lines between blocks do not create additional empty paragraphs.

Line Breaks vs. Paragraph Breaks

A single line break does not necessarily mean that a new paragraph has started.

For example, if one paragraph is displayed across several consecutive lines without a blank line between them, the tool treats those lines as the same paragraph.

A blank line separates one paragraph block from the next. This helps prevent ordinary line breaks from being counted as separate paragraphs.
