How Does the Hashtag Extractor Handle Duplicates?

If the same hashtag appears more than once, the tool displays it once in the result list. Hashtags with different capitalization remain separate.

For example, #SEO and #seo are both retained because they are not identical. The hashtag counter may count all detected occurrences, including repeats, rather than only the unique hashtags displayed.

Which Hashtags Can the Tool Detect?

The extractor recognizes common hashtags containing letters, numbers and underscores, including #TextNivo, #2026 and #hello_world.

It ignores a standalone # and does not treat the # in a word such as C# as a hashtag. Punctuation following a hashtag is not included in the extracted result.
